System design using either procedural or object methodology
Using previously completed requirements documentation and models, a functional design is prepared for review. This set of documents will define the data model, identify specific processes, reveal objects and define the GUI standards to be followed. The resulting documentation is generally detailed enough for developers to begin building your application.
Using the functional specifications and incorporating the selected architecture, frameworks and external components, the technical design is then completed. The technical design delves into the details necessary to build a complete and robust system. Working from this level of specification, your developers are directly guided in the desired construction.

Time and Materials development and enhancement
We offer T&M contracts to develop applications which cannot be quoted for fixed price development. This may be necessary when an application has not been fully designed or specified, or when the tools or components in use are changing or not well known. T&M contracts are also used when Heurix consultants are engaged to replace or augment staff for day-to-day duties.

Heurix consultants will work with you and your staff to assess your current disaster recovery plan and preparedness. Our consultants will work with you to determine what's right for your installation and identify risks. After a thorough series of staff interviews, policy reviews and procedural tests, we'll show you any vulnerabililties and suggest corrective measures. We document in detail a disaster recovery plan showing responsibilities and methods for evaluating ongoing preparedness. We can also provide monthly, quarterly or yearly tests and evaluations.
