Heurix (pronounced "hyoo-riks") is a Pennsylvania corporation established in 1998. The vision for this venture was formed after working with a number of consultants and finding the experiences less than satisfactory. It was surprising to find many of them working as "body shops," hiring unknowns from the street to staff a particular project. The resulting quality of each engagement was frequently below expectation, with high turnover and less real expertise than the cost would indicate.

It is our belief that a smaller firm, selecting staff whenever possible, from those with whom we have actual and satisfactory working experiences, can provide better customer service and maintain closer customer ties. We believe the entrepreneurial atmosphere provides the best system of motivation, achievement and rewards and that by maintaining this atmosphere, Heurix staff will deliver their best performance to best serve each customer. As we grow, we will attempt to recruit primarily from the ranks of those with whom we have worked well in the past. New hires will be closely mentored and monitored until their dedication, skill, judgement, and ability to work with others is proven.

Heurix staff have decades of experience in the Home Health Care industry. In addition, we offer extensive experience in the Physician Practice Management area, Scheduling, Fuel Oil and Propane Distribution, Manufacturing and Contractor Wholesale/Retail Sales.

Our IEP Assistant, available for Pennsylvania formats, allows Early Intervention, Gifted and School Age Special Education teachers to produce and monitor student IEP documents efficiently and consistently. Heurix can provide a suite of managerial services including management training, consultation, customer and employee surveys, objectives (MBO) development and tracking. We offer these services through a State College-based firm with whom we have worked closely for a number of years. This firm has an extensive record of both private and public sector engagements. These services may be especially useful to those whose development shops are planning or experiencing major shifts in technology, strategy or staffing.
